I've had this French song stuck in my head since I woke up - it carried me from my morning coffee all the way to my Halloween pumpkin carving tradition.  It's an infectious and festive song for this time of year and it always reminds me of my French immersion days.

This is my first outfit post (and surely not my last).  I was a bit nervous putting myself out there right from the start. They say a little bit of mystery goes a long way.  But since when have I listened to "them"?

A little bit of unexpected sparkle (todays is courtesy of Forever 21) with something simple, like a plaid shirt and jeans, can make any outfit feel a little more special.

A New Season

Welcome to honey of the heart!  As a new season begins, I thought it would be fitting to start a new project, my first blog.  honey of the heart will be centered around things that I love, and sharing them with other people.  Fall is my favorite time of year, I absolutely love the leaves changing colors and the cooler temperatures. Cozy sweaters come out of the closet and the smell of homemade soup fills the air.  Here's to the beauty of fall!
